The tensile stength can each 117MPa even if the mineal fille level is PPA. The extensibility of PPA esin is not as good as that of nylon 6 and 6. Howeve, an uneinfoced impact gade PPA esin has been developed, and its notched cantileve impact stength is as high as 20 feet / pound / inch.All polyphenols absob a cetain amount of wate, causing plasticization and size change. Fo example, nylon 6, 6, at 23 degees F, the elative humidity is 100%, it can absob 8.9% of the moistue, which makes its glass tansition tempeatue fom 6.5 C to a 20 degee tempeatue, the size inceased 2.3%. Unde the same conditions, the PPA esin can absob about 6% of the moistue, but the vitification tempeatue of Tg will not be less than 40, and the accompanying size inceases not moe than 1%.As mentioned befoe, glass einfoced PPA esin has a high HDT value, which can toleate shot tem effects of high tempeatue, fo example, in a funace, o in steam phase and in the pocess of infaed countecuent consolidation. The themal oxidation stability of PPA esin makes it capable of long-tem high tempeatue effect and glass enhancement PPA. Within 20000 hous, its continuous use tempeatue can each 330 F.Unde nomal conditions, PPA esins usually exhibit excellent anti solubility fo fatty hydocabons, aomatic hydocabons, chloinated hydocabons, estes, ketones, alcohols and most aqueous solutions. This kind of esin can not withstand the effect of extemely stong acid and stong oxidizing agent. It is soluble in phenol and cesol. PPA is not natually flame-etadant. Using a desiccant bucket dye, it is easy to dy the esin to the dew point humidity of 25 F o even lowe at 175 F. The dying time depends on the amount of wate absobed, usually within the ange of 4 - 16 hous.PPO pefomance1. It's white paticles. It has good compehensive pefomance and can be used in 120 degees of steam. It has good electical insulation and small wate absoption, but it has the tendency of stess cacking. The modified polyphenylene ethe can eliminate stess cacking.2. It has outstanding electical insulation and wate esistance. It has good wea esistance and electical popeties, and has good dimensional stability. Its dielectic popety anks fist in plastic.3, MPPO is a modified mateial made by blending PPO with HIPS. At pesent, the mateials on the maket ae all such mateials.4, high heat esistance, glass tansition tempeatue 211 degees, melting point 268 degees, heating to 330 degees, and decomposition tendency. The highe the content of PPO, the bette the heat esistance and the hot defomation tempeatue can each 190 degees.5, the flame etadancy is good, it has self inteest, and it has medium combustibility afte mixing with HIPS. It is light and non-toxic and can be used in the food and dug industy. Poo light esistance, long time in the sun will be discoloation.6. It can be modified by blending with ABS, HDPE, PPS, PA, HIPS, glass fibe and so on.
